STILLPOINT ARTS was established in 1996 as a collaborative, full partnership fine arts and crafts business. Our home and studio sit on a hillside above the Pacific Ocean overlooking California's south Big Sur coast where our closest neighbors are the local wildlife, and we experience the ever-changing drama of the sky, land and ocean. Living close to the natural world and experiencing the simple beauty and deep interrelatedness of everything inspires our creativity and the name STILLPOINT.       Sheri DeVoll Johnson has been creating mixed media sculptures from ceramics, natural fiber, metal and stone since 1982. She has earned BA and MA degrees in liberal arts and consciousness with a concentration in art. Over 2,000 of her natural fiber dolls and stone sculptures are in galleries and private collections around the world.

      Glenn Johnson has been exhibiting drawings and paintings in scratchboard, acrylics, watercolor and oils with a special feeling for landscapes and trees since the age of 16 and won numerous awards. Currently he is working collaboratively in stone and exploring the interface between landscape and the hidden patterns behind it in his paintings, drawings and mixed media collage.
